POEX twin screw extruders are preffered because it can be replaced by cooking line which reduces equipment and energy costs.

Manufacturing of candies, pasta, cereals, gums, doughs, biscuits, farina and crackers can be done with POEX twin screw extruders.

As a definiton of cooking procedure; suitable humidity level and particule sized starch and protein mixtures shaped by POEX twin screw extruders with mechanical shifting, high pressure and temperature.

A lot of complexitiy changing occurs between water molecules, protein, lipid, starch, protein denaturation, starch gelatination as a result of high temperature, pressure and cutting during extrusion.
